WHAT IS THE ROLE OF SUSHIMAN?

To have an excellent level of training, it is preferable to go directly to Asia and train with a master sushiman. He will teach you the art of making sushi and all the secrets.

QUALITIES REQUIRED TO BE A SUSHIMAN

The qualities required to be a good sushiman are to have a sustained pace, because you have to make many bites quickly. You also have to be rigorous and orderly. Not all of your sushi will be successful the first time, so you have to be able to accept failure.

You have to have a good sense of hospitality when you find yourself in front of a client. Be sure of yourself, there may be times when you prepare sushi directly in front of customers. To be a very good cook, very precise and diligent.

WHAT IS A SUSHIMAN’S SALARY

It will depend on his experience and skills, but a sushiman can earn between 1500 and 2000 € gross monthly. This salary can be higher depending on the establishment where you work, in a chain, or in a reputable restaurant.

WHAT ABOUT THE FUTURE PROSPECTS FOR A SUSHIMAN

A sushiman can evolve and open his own chain, or sushi restaurant. He can become a specialist chef at home, or teach sushi preparation courses. There are many possibilities when you love your job. You can therefore evolve and practice as you wish.
