Grenoble: Serial fires

It is the law of series in the Grenoble conurbation. Five restaurants have been burnt down in six weeks. Each time, criminal acts.

The first fire dates back to the week of June 25: a snack kebab on rue de Stalingrad. Second fire, on July 4 in another kebab snack in Saint Martin d’Hères. The third one a week later in a pizzeria in the center of Grenoble. The fourth last Monday in a Japanese restaurant. Finally, the latest: in a hallal fast food, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Each time, arson aimed at destroying buildings. No theft was reported in the five signs that were set on fire. Each time, an act perpetrated in the middle of the night. Investigators are trying to find out if there is a link between these five cases. Racket? Settling scores ? Competition? Or just coincidence? All avenues are being considered. The restaurants are far from each other, they are not all in the same type of restoration. Their only common point: a kitchen foreign sounding.
